On the schedule, where it lists Open Mat, what does that exactly mean?  Is it a class with no instruction, sort of just students at the school just rolling or...  If you are new, can you just hang around and practice striking on the heavy bags or is it for advanced students as its unsupervised grappling.  I have spoken with Christian and am starting in June now that my hours are sorted at work and am just curious what classes would be available to me.  Thanks to anyone who helps out this complete noob. Wink

you can grapple, do bag work, conditioning, hang out, arrange for privates, etc.

just no formal classes go on at that time.
